I haven’t posted anything for ages mostly because i haven’t sewn much! I’ve been totally engrossed with planning our big trip to New Zealand at the end of March.
The few bits of sewing I’ve done have been a total joy, just going with the flow, no deadlines.
After a lot of cutting, I’ve made a start on the blocks for my seaside quilt. This one is made up of 2.5 inch squares. I love the vintage feel of it when all the fabrics are mixed up.
Another mini project was finishing some gifts for family we are visiting in New Zealand. I had another go at an earbud pouch and made a few key loops. Also something for my sister in law from a lovely blue vintage sheet I found a while ago.
I will have to add those photos later. For now here’s a key loop I’ve made for my mum for Mother’s Day from some Liberty sample squares I won in a giveaway from the Village Haberdashery.
